Generator Electronic Regulation SVR GENERGY Exclusive to GENERGY
Most of our generators are of the SVR electronic control type, which improves the performance of the generators. performance of the AVR.
SVR - SMART VOLTAGE REGULATOR (Smart Voltage Regulator)
The NEW SVR REGULATOR, exclusive to GENERGY, allows the starting of larger engines while protecting the alternator. alternator from overloads. It is available on almost all of our generator ranges. generator ranges.
Are all voltage regulators the same? At first glance it may seem so, but the truth is that there are different qualities y performance. The fact that they are outwardly the same, compatible or of the same brand does not mean that we are dealing with the same product, and much less with the same quality. the same quality.
The traditional AVR is an effective and economical solution to control the voltage of an alternator even at times of acceleration and engine recovery. It brings with it a multitude of advantages, but also minor drawbacks.
Generators with AVR are not capable of starting motors whose peak power consumption exceeds the generator's maximum output. In contrast, the novel SVR allows starting of inductive material that exceeds the generator output.
In the event of an inductive overload, our SVR regulator will command to reduce the voltage voltage -within certain parameters and without risk to the equipment- while maintaining the RPM y Hz stable. This prevents the motor from collapsing. Once the peak consumption has passed and the load is within the logical performance of the genset, the voltage voltage will recover to its nominal level.
This system protects the alternator and the engine from overloads and offers innumerable advantages according to the attached tables.
Unlike traditional AVRs, AVRs are regulators SVR regulators from Genergy will prevent a dangerous voltage spike in the event that the electronics are electronics of the regulator itself is damaged or suffers disconnection at any terminal.
