Silent Inverter Generators: Soundproof, ranging from 1,100 W to 19 kW

14 soundproof models · 52 to 74 dB · 12 kg to 19 kW

14 enclosed inverter generators for use near people: ranging from 52 dB at 7 m and weighing 12.1 kg, with a carbon monoxide alarm in the Creta Silent, 50-meter control range, solar backup, and automatic startup in the event of a power outage. Spanish brand, 3-year warranty for residential customers, and technical support in Spain.

What Is a Soundproof Inverter and Who Is It For?

An inverter Silent It has the same motor and the same clean-wave electronics as a inverter Open, but inside a noise-absorbing enclosure. The difference isn't in the current it delivers—it's that you can place it next to a RV, a patio, or a home with neighbors without it being a problem.

Genergy manufactures 14 models of silent inverter generators as part of its inverter series, ranging from 1,100 to 19,000 W, with electric start and a battery included in all models except Ibiza 1100, digital display, and mode ECO. The quietest person in the whole house is Palma 1.700 W, with 52–58 dB at 7 m; the lightest, Ibiza 1.100 W, weighing 12.1 kg. In the family Creta Silent (7,500 W, versions RC, SOL and ATS) A carbon monoxide alarm that shuts off the engine, a 30 mA differential, and a filter are added Typhonic. Bali and Borneo They also deliver 400 V. For those who don't need silence and prioritize weight, the sister line is Inverter Open; for those looking for a soundproofed diesel generator for continuous use, you can find all of our soundproof models—which are also diesel-powered—at silent generator.

The noise, explained honestly, and the alarm that stops the engine

No one else provides dB comparisons on a model-by-model basis. We do—and we explain exactly what that means.

The "dB at 7 m" figure is the noise level measured at a distance of 7 meters, which is the industry standard for portable generators. We provide a rank and not a single number, because the generator doesn't sound the same all the time: the low end corresponds to the engine at idle and in ECO (light or no load), and the high end at full rated load. A Creta Silent At 61–71 dB, it sounds like 61 dB under light load and like 71 dB when you push it to its full rated 7,200 W. This is technical data, not a description: that’s why we prefer to give the full range rather than just the lower number, even if that sells better.

A rough scale to give you an idea of the noise level.
GuidelineApproximate level
Library or quiet study room~40 dB
Normal conversation, at a distance of 1 meter~60 dB
Moderate urban traffic~70 dB
Palma 1700, at 7 meters52-58 dB
Creta Silent 7,500, at 7 meters61-71 dB

The first three are general references for acoustics, not measurements taken by Genergy and at different distances from each other: they are meant to give a sense of scale, not as an exact comparison with the data from the generator, which is always measured at 7 m. The data from the models Genergy Yes, they are from the catalog.

The carbon monoxide alarm in the Creta Silent

No gasoline-powered generator stops producing CO: an internal combustion engine always produces it. What changes is what happens if it accumulates near people.

Detects

A built-in sensor continuously measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air around the generator while it is running.

For the engine

If the concentration exceeds the safety threshold, the alarm automatically shuts down the engine without requiring any human intervention.

Why It Matters

CO is neither visible nor detectable by smell. At an event, on a patio, or next to a RV, a generator may end up in a poorly ventilated area without the user realizing it: this alarm is the difference between a timely warning and carbon monoxide poisoning.

The alarm is not a substitute for ventilation. A gasoline-powered generator should always be used outdoors—never inside a motorhome, a closed garage, or a tent—even if it is equipped with a CO alarm. The Creta Silent RC, SOL, and ATS 7,500 W models come standard with this feature.

Frequently Asked Questions About Inverter Generators Silent

Palma 1700 W, a 52-58 dB a 7 m.

You can see them all at silent generator.

Si llevas aire acondicionado, sube a Menorca RC 2900 W. For more details, see Generator for RVs and Campers.

Examples of consumption in What can I plug into a 3,000-watt generator?.

Not sure if 52 dB is enough for you or if you need something more powerful?

Tell us where the generator will be located (RV, patio, home with neighbors, event) and what you plan to plug in. We'll respond via the contact form with the model, the actual decibel level for your specific situation, and the nearest dealer.

I recently purchased a Limited 7000 generator. I contacted the company by email to ask a few questions, and they responded immediately. Plus, they’re going to replace the industrial outlet adapter in a couple of days. GREAT AFTER-SALES SERVICE—for once, what they say is true; that’s what I call service. As for the generator, it looks well-built and high-quality, starts right up, and the noise level is about what you’d expect from a gasoline-powered generator—it’s a good machine. For now, I’m giving Genergy 5 stars.

I bought the 3000 diesel generator. They tested it at the factory before shipping it to me and delivered it with oil already in it and ready to use—even though they didn’t have to, since with large retailers, they don’t even bother to open the box for you to inspect it. Once tested, it works very well, and I have no complaints. The customer service is excellent. I called several times to get more information—and, by the way, to make sure it wasn’t one of those scams that are so common in online sales these days—and I can assure you that this is a trustworthy company from which I’ll make future purchases. Thank you very much for everything.

Definitely a trustworthy company. I had a minor issue with a generator, and they resolved it within 24 hours. They responded to my email incredibly quickly and provided a fast, effective solution—the kind you’d expect from a mature, well-established team. Their communication was direct, transparent, and straightforward, with no evasive tactics or automated replies that lead nowhere. By the way, the generator is a Genergy 5000, and it works like a charm—well-designed, compact, and reliable. I use it almost exclusively to power a 1.5 HP well pump. It’s definitely a great choice, and I highly recommend it.
